Marla Ball and Colleen Dugan moved to Jacksonville in May of 2006 to begin their careers. Marla graduated from the University of Georgia with a degree in Child and Family Development, and Colleen graduated from Flagler College with a business degree.
Through creative thinking these two friends developed an idea to alleviate the stress of one of the top five chores Americans dislike doing, grocery shopping!
"The Grocery Girls have been a real lifesaver for me! I actually met the Grocery Girls at the grocery store while shopping for my mother. She is elderly and can no longer drive and buy her own groceries. After asking for their business card, I visited their website, and the girls have been part of our routine ever since. I simply order my mother's groceries online and the girls deliver them directly to her home. They even put away the cold items! It provides me with peace of mind, knowing that my mother's grocery needs are provided for. The girls are so sweet, and she always looks forward to her Grocery Day. I greatly appreciate the service they provide!"

"I'm busy and I hate grocery shopping which is why I love this service! It's an amazing time-saver. Grocery Girls gets everything I order, they deliver it with a smile and save me the gas and aggravation of doing the shopping myself. All for a very reasonable price. What's better than that?"

"Grocery Girls has made my life so much easier! No more grocery shopping after work or on weekends. They do an excellent job and always aim to please. Worth every dime"
